About the workplace
Solna District Court is an open, modern, and development-oriented workplace with engaged employees. With around 145 employees, the court is one of the largest district courts in Sweden. Here, a large number of criminal cases, civil cases, and court matters are handled. Solna District Court has four adjudicative departments and one administrative department. The operations are characterized by high quality, made possible through good collaboration among employees, regardless of professional role or organizational affiliation. At the court, we actively work to improve and develop the operations where you, with your engagement, will have the chance to contribute. The work involves
As a court administrator, you will have varied and developing tasks in an interesting and socially important operation. Together with others, you will ensure that the court's cases are prepared for trial. You will work to ensure that cases and matters are decided efficiently and legally, which requires you to have very good judgment.
The tasks include, among other things, registering incoming documents, handling correspondence, issuing judgments and decisions, as well as planning and calling for hearings. Daily contacts occur with parties, representatives, authorities, and the public. After training and development, you will be authorized to independently perform more qualified tasks under your own responsibility. This may involve deciding on various forms of appointments, obtaining personal investigations, or serving as a protocol officer at court hearings.
You will be part of a team of about eight to ten court administrators. You will be placed in an adjudicative department or in the central case office, which is part of the administrative department.
As an administrator in the adjudicative department, you will work together with judges, court clerks, and legal advisors to handle various types of cases and matters. You will independently handle criminal cases and manage civil cases and matters in consultation with judges and court clerks.
As an administrator in the central case office, you will be responsible, together with the team, for the court's registry and prepare cases for their initiation, register, log, and scan new cases and matters in our case management system. You will handle cases of joint divorce and appoint public defenders and victim advocates, as well as book and record minutes at detention hearings. The central case office also handles certain financial tasks and other administrative duties.

You should
- have a pronounced sense of service and quality

- have the ability to prioritize and plan your work during periods of high workload
- have completed secondary education or equivalent education at the same level
- be a proficient computer user and see computers, email, and phones as natural working tools
- be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
- be able to start the employment on September 1, 2025
